Battle Lake, MN Winter Craft Fair 2019

I am from a small town in Minnesota, a state where it is winter 9 months out of the year. It can become difficult to find things to do in the winter especially with the frigged cold and feet of snow. Many people from Minnesota and surrounding states work all year for these craft fairs that happen all year round. You can find craft fairs, typically, in parks and during festivals through out the summer and fall, and in the winter and spring in malls, schools, and in the bigger cities, community/small convention centers. Battle Lake hosts two craft fairs throughout the year. One during their Wenonga Days in the summer, and one the first weekend in December. My favorite one to go to is the one in the winter, for many reasons! It gets you out of the house, it’s not too far from where I live, and best of all… it’s right before Christmas! They always have such wonderful, hand crafted, personalized gifts for very reasonable prices! You can find something for just about anybody there. It also is one of the larger ones in rural Minnesota. This winter one too also holds a special place in my heart. I use to help one of the vendors, who is there annually, for about 5 years with their quilt stand. Battle Lake hosts their winter craft fair in their high school. I highly recommend this craft fair. It is one of my favorites, and i look forward to it all year.
