Summer adventure plans and 4th of July
Hey y’all, I know it’s tough right now to do any big traveling, BUT is there anything fun you have done so far this summer? Have you just been relaxing? Traveled anywhere? Planning on anything fun? I have just been enjoying time at the lake relaxing, kayaking, swimming, and working on some great posts that will be coming soon. I spent my 4th of July doing a boat parade, a classic car cruise, as well as enjoying the fireworks. If you’re ever looking for a good place with a good vibe, 8-bit nerdy atmosphere and some darn good pizza then look no further than this delicious hole in the wall! DeLeo Bros Pizzeria is located inside the Southdale Mall in Edina, MN. With pizza the size of your face for only a couple of dollars a slice and the 1980s memorabilia plastered all over I can easily say that this is one of my favorite places to chow down and nerd out at. Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
The Minnesota Zoo puts on a wonderful fall event during October. Their Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular hosts over 5,000 beautifully carved pumpkins displaying images through out different time periods, historical events, and things that happened throughout the year. They also play sounds or music from those time periods. I would recommend it to even those of you who may not be a huge fan of Halloween. It may be a bunch of carved pumpkins, but there is noting scary, spooky, creepy, or unnerving about this event! Words cannot describe how fun and surprisingly enchanting this event is!
